As a LMS Support Engineer, you will be a part of a team that creates interactive content in our award-winning game-based training courses. A subset of our Flex-based web courses are specifically created to work in Learning Management Systems, generally SCORM-conformant. Some LMSs have specific needs beyond that.The rest of the engineering team is based in Los Angeles; you must thrive in an environment where you can work remotely with technical peers while providing local support to customers on alread-deployed products.

This is a full-time position with full employment benefits. This position is based in Hampton Roads, VA. The position will involve spending a great deal of time on-site with customers, generally in the VA area.

You must have:

  • Professional understanding of OO and design patterns like the MVC model
  • Experience with Flex 3 / 4 and ActionScript
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with large XML based data-structures
  • Experience developing software in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mentality
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • US Citizenship

You should have:

  • Experience with CMS or LMS systems
  • Experience with SCORM
  • Experience with creating SCORM SCO's and creating advanced SCORM manifests

You should be:

  • Creative
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Attentive to the needs of non-technical personnel
  • A fast worker who enjoys getting things done
  • An independent worker but a team player
